SciVal and Incites: Introduction to Research Impact and Resources for Faculty and Department Chairs Online
The University of South Florida Libraries provides institutional support for, and access to, Elsevier’s SciVal product, as well as Clarivate’s InCites resource. This session will provide an introductory overview of these advanced tools and how they may be used to help look at subject area comparisons and aggregated metrics for USF and beyond. This session will help faculty evaluate their own works and departmental (summary) metrics, in addition to helping provide information about future potential areas of focus, funding, and other ways you can help yourself and your faculty and colleagues target resources and research areas.
