Citations, H-Index, and More: Demonstrating Your Research Impact Online

The USF Libraries provides institutional support for, and access to, Elsevier’s SciVal and Scopus products, as well as Clarivate’s InCites resource. This session will provide an introductory overview of these advanced tools and how they may be used to identify author, institution, and subject area benchmarking and aggregated metrics for USF, as well as comparative measures from other universities and colleges. In addition, this presentation will outline methods to identify author and publication metrics, as well as other summary data and ranking information. There are now updated collections that provide information on upcoming potential areas of focus, funding, and other ways to best target data resources and new research areas. By Matt Torrence, USF Libraries.
