Poster Design for Researchers: Designing & Laying Out Information in a Visually Communicative Format Online

A Research Poster helps communicate your findings, information, and conclusions, and acts as an invitation to other researchers to interact and discuss your research topic. A well-designed research poster makes it easy for others to get a snapshot of your work, and gets the attention of anyone who passes by, or potentially finding your information online. In this workshop we will go over visual design basics, how to put together a research poster in different formats, and how typography and visuals help communicate your points and ideas. By David Watts, USF College of the Arts.

Note: Due to the impact of Hurricane Milton, this workshop (originally scheduled for 10/16 at 11am) has been rescheduled for the same time on October 23rd. We apologize for the inconvenience.
