Black History Month: Wikipedia Workshop and Edit-a-thon Online

The USF Libraries and USF School of Information has partnered with Tennessee State University and Wikimedia DC to present this introductory workshop to Wikipedia editing. Participants will learn how to create and edit Wikipedia pages during an hour-long virtual workshop presented by Wikimedia. The workshop will be immediately followed by an optional two-hour long edit-a-thon dedicated to improving Wikipedia content about African American history and culture. By Andrew Beman-Cavallaro, Emily Norton, Evan Fruehauf, USF Libraries; Kiersty Cox, USF School of Information; James Scholz, Tennessee State University Libraries; and Wikimedia DC.
