DMC - Getting Started with Manual Photography
Manual photography is an essential skill to learn for those looking to take full advantage of their DSLR cameras. Using the manual setting on your camera allows you to control the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings yourself, to achieve an exact look when capturing an image.
In this workshop, you will have hands on experience learning how to change the main settings of a DSLR in order to achieve desired effects in photographs. In addition, you will learn the basics of framing and composition methods.
**NOTE: This workshop is a prerequisite for the Lightroom Bronze workshop. If you want to receive your digital badge in this workshop, you must first complete the requirements from Lightroom Bronze.
***If you own a DSLR camera, please bring it with you to the workshop, as it is best to learn with the camera you will be using most. If not, the DMC will provide cameras, but you may be required to share with a partner.
