DMC - Discover: After Effects
Adobe After Effects is a professional grade program that allows you to composite scenes, track motion, rotoscoping, and create special effects, such as creating rainfall and replacing heads. It has other fantastic uses such as logo manipulation, 3D modelling, motion graphics, VFX, and so much more. This is your first step into the wide-world of compositing!
In this introductory badge workshop, you will learn about the purpose of After Effects, file handling within After Effects, understanding the workspace, using the basic tools including how to do motion tracking, basic animation, and basic 3D camera tracking.
**Note: It is recommended (but not required) that you have taken at least the Premiere Pro Bronze Level workshop before attending this session. Many of the concepts discussed will be in conjunction with a basic understanding of Premiere. Attendees typically have varied skill levels, so we ask that you bring an open attitude and come ready to embrace the learning process regardless of your experience with the application.
A Silver and Gold level workshop will not be offered for After Effects until Spring 2019.
