Illustrator for Researchers: Creating high-quality figures for publication in scholarly journals Online

This workshop will introduce you to basic tools and methodologies required to construct accurate, consistent, and high-quality figures that meet the standards for publication in scholarly journals, focusing on Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator is a vector-based graphics software for creating smooth graphical images. It is not photo editing software, and thus is best for creating images from scratch. This workshop will serve as an introduction to using Adobe Illustrator and is designed for beginner users; however students of any ability level are welcome. Additionally, the workshop will cover locating & identifying image quality standards for various scholarly journals.
