Introduction to Data-Planet Statistical Datasets: Focus on Hospitality Online
This workshop will help hospitality researchers explore available data sets to enhance their research, focusing on datasets available from the Data-Planet Statistical Datasets database. Please note, while this workshop will be focused on datasets helpful for hospitality research, the skills conveyed are applicable to many other marketing, business, and social science researchers interested in using Data-Planet. After attending, workshop participants should be able to: Identify the types of topics and populations covered in Data-Planet datasets appropriate for hospitality research, including EASI Market Planner datasets, Identify and select modifiers in order to manipulate datasets, Explore various visualization options to enhance data interpretation, & Perform a basic search in Data-Planet and export data
