Photoshop for Researchers: Creating high-quality figures for publication in scholarly journals Online
This workshop will introduce you to basic tools and methodologies required to construct accurate, consistent, and high-quality figures that meet the standards for publication in scholarly journals, focusing on Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is a raster-based (pixel) image editor with a wide utility for editing photographs and downloaded data visualizations. This workshop will also serve as an introduction to using Adobe Photoshop and is designed for beginner users; however students of any ability level are welcome. Additionally, the workshop will cover locating & identifying image quality standards for various scholarly journals.
