Knowing how scholarly journals go about the business of processing, peer reviewing, and accepting article submissions can give you an advantage when submitting your work for publication.  This session will give an introduction to the structure and processes of an average journal as well as information on how you can manage your rights as an author and increase the impact of your publication.
