SUMMARY:Finding a Home for Your Manuscript
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed to show scholars how to research
journals\, their scope and rankings in order to find a good fit for their
manuscripts. By the end of this workshop you will be able to: 1) Learn to
research journals qualitatively by dentifying their scope\, audience\,
reviewing procedures\, and publication preferences. 2) Identify tools that
offer journal rankings and metrics that measure journal impact. 3) Identify
predatory open access journals scholars should avoid. By Susan Ariew\, USF
 Libraries.
