SUMMARY:Intro to AI-Powered Literature Review
DESCRIPTION:This workshop introduces researchers and students to conducting
literature reviews with the assistance of AI tools such as Elicit\,
Perplexity\, and NotebookLM. These tools enable users to efficiently
identify key papers\, generate concise summaries\, explore research gaps\,
and organize findings for ongoing projects. Participants will learn how
Elicit can prioritize relevant studies and uncover new research
directions\, while Perplexity offers conversational literature insights
supported by accurate citations. Additionally\, NotebookLM will be
demonstrated as a powerful tool for structuring and annotating literature\,
enabling better organization and synthesis. This session not only provides
hands-on experience but also addresses ethical considerations and best
practices\, equipping attendees with actionable strategies for enhancing
their research processes. By Evan Fruehauf\, USF Libraries.
